Updated 20 Oct 20265 min read
Search for Daman on video sites and you will find mod APKs and prediction apps promising guaranteed wins. Here is what they really do.
What fake apps do
| Type | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Login stealers | Copy the Daman look and capture your password |
| SMS readers | Ask for permission to read OTPs |
| Fake wins | Show balances that never pay out |
Signs of a fake
- Names with mod, hack, VIP or predictor.
- Sent by strangers on chat apps.
- Asks for SMS or accessibility permission.
Already installed one?
- Uninstall it.
- Change your Daman login password.
- Change the withdrawal password.
- Check your UPI and bank activity.
- Tell Daman customer care.
Why these scams work
They promise what everyone wants — guaranteed wins — and borrow the real Daman colours and logo. The giveaway is always the same: a real platform never sells a way to beat its own games.
